Child Health Issues
State Senator Eric Kearney pledges to continue being  a leader in the issue of childhood obesity and childrens health.  He has initiated an annual walk to Columbus to combat numerous child health issues including childhood obesity.  In  addition, he has authored legislation to combat the State of Ohio’s rising childhood obesity status which is at 15th in the nation as of 2009.     

Healthcare
State Senator Eric Kearney pledges to work to address the healthcare crisis that impacts every citizen’s ability to receive quality healthcare. Senior citizens are being affected by changes in Medicare and Medicaid and he plans to work to educate and fight for better healthcare options throughout the State.

Small Business
State Senator Eric Kearney pledges to work to create and environment for entrepreneurs and small businesses to grow and thrive in the State of Ohio.

Homeownership
State Senator Eric Kearney pledges to work to create opportunities for increased homeownership for citizens in the 9th district and State of Ohio. In addition, he plans to work with organizations delivering financial literacy programs to reduce the rate of foreclosures in the State of Ohio.
